Delete Your Account

Last updated: August 20, 2026

You can delete your TFN account yourself, from the website or from the TFN app. You do not need to email us and you do not need to wait on us. This page covers what happens when you do it, what is deleted, what stays behind and why, and how long the whole thing takes.

Start the deletion

Deletion lives inside your account settings, so you sign in first. That is on purpose. Signing in is how we know the person asking to delete an account is the person who owns it.

Go to account deletion

That link opens Settings, then Sign-in & Security, where the delete control lives. If you are signed out, you sign in on the way and land straight back on it.

On the website

  1. Sign in at thefantasynetwork.ai.
  2. Open Settings, then Sign-in & Security.
  3. Choose Delete account, then confirm.

In the TFN app

  1. Open Settings, then Sign-in & Security.
  2. Choose Delete account, then confirm.

What happens after you confirm

  • We schedule the deletion for 14 days out and show you the exact date.
  • Your account keeps working for all 14 days. Nothing is switched off or hidden while the clock runs.
  • You can call it off. Open the same screen, choose Keep my account, and the schedule is cancelled with nothing lost.
  • On the scheduled date the deletion runs automatically. There is no second confirmation to miss.

What gets deleted

On the scheduled date, in this order:

  • Any active TFN subscription is cancelled.
  • Your sign-in credentials are deleted, so you can no longer sign in to TFN with them.
  • Your account record is anonymized. Your username and the profile attached to it stop identifying you.

What stays, and why

Your league does not disappear when you do. Standings, matchups, drafts, and season history belong to everyone who played in that league, and deleting one member should not wipe out eleven other people’s seasons. So those records stay, with your identity detached from them. Where your name used to be, there is an anonymized placeholder.

We also keep some records after an account is deleted for the reasons set out in our Privacy Policy: legal and regulatory obligations, resolving disputes, and analytics retention. That policy is where those rules live rather than being restated here, so there is only one version of them to keep accurate.

One thing can hold it up

An active paid subscription blocks a deletion request. Cancel it from Settings, then Subscriptions, and come back. If that applies to you, the delete screen says so on the spot instead of failing quietly.

That check runs at the moment you request deletion. A subscription that starts later, inside the 14 days, does not block anything. It is cancelled as part of the deletion instead.

Being a commissioner does not block anything either, and deleting your account does not delete your league. The league and its history stay for the members still in it. If you would rather hand one over before your date, you do that yourself: open Settings, pick the league, open Members, and transfer the commissioner role.

How long it takes

14 days from the moment you confirm. The request is recorded right away, the account stays usable through the window, and you can cancel at any point in it. On day 14 the deletion runs on its own.

If you cannot sign in

Locked out, lost access to the email on the account, or stuck before you reach the delete screen? Write in and we will handle the deletion for you.

Send it from the email address on the account if you still can, and name a league you were in. That is what lets us confirm the account is yours before anything is deleted.
